The Imaging Department was established in 2013, within UMF Craiova, with the aim of providing high performance diagnostic services with the ultimate goal of improving the research, development and innovation component.

The aim of the Imaging Department is to diagnose, evaluate and stage various diseases using high-performance imaging techniques such as computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
