TACSSYD 2026 – Excellence, Rigor, and Innovation in the Art of Surgery

From October 12th to 18th, Craiova becomes the epicenter of high-performance surgery during the 9th edition of The Annual Congress of Surgery for Students and Young Doctors (TACSSYD), organized by the Romanian Student Society of Surgery (SSCR). Bringing together over 500 young doctors and medical students, the event is designed as a framework for academic confluence and practical excellence.

The scientific agenda features 40 immersive workshops and lectures delivered by over 100 internationally renowned mentors, covering complex procedures in laparoscopy, anastomosis, valve replacement, and microsurgery. Additionally, 50 resident physicians will present cutting-edge research, fostering a high-caliber, multidisciplinary dialogue.
