The University of Medicine and Pharmacy (UMF) of Craiova and the Society of Doctors of Children and Youth Collectivities are pleased to announce the organization of the 13th edition of the Congress of School and University Medicine. The event will take place during the period September 2-4, 2024, in the Aula Magna of UMF Craiova.

The official opening of the Congress will take place on September 2, 2024, at 13:00 in the Aula Magna (Bdv. 1 Mai, No. 66). The event will be attended by doctors who work in school and student medical practices across the country, representatives of major university medical centers, UNICEF officials, as well as representatives of public health directorates and school inspectorates.

During the three-day congress, topical medical challenges will be discussed and novel therapeutic approaches will be presented, providing a platform for knowledge exchange between professionals in the field.

           The Society of Doctors in Children and Youth Collectivities, founded in 2000 in Cluj-Napoca, is a non-profit professional organization, dedicated to supporting doctors working in school and student medical practices. The organization is active in several counties in the country, with the aim of expanding the network by establishing new branches.

           UMF Craiova reconfirms its program of supporting academic events that promote collaboration between physicians, specialists and researchers in the medical sciences, thus contributing to the dissemination of high quality medical information.
