The Torch complex. Screening necessary in obstetrics

SUMMARY
The diseases induced by the Torch complex agents during the pregnancy are capable to harm the product of conception getting to the premature interruption of the pregnancy, to the fetal death or congenital fetal malformations. The Torch complex comprises many microorganisms: parasites (Toxoplasma gondii, Tripanosoma cruzi, Plasmodium), viruses (cytomegalovirus, the herpes simplex viruses type 1 and 2, rubella virus, varicelo-zosterian virus, choriomeningitis lymphocit virus, encephalitis equine by West virus, encephalitis equine by Venezuela virus, human parvovirus B19, enteroviruses, Ebola virus, hurlian virus, immunodeficiency human type 1 virus) and bacteriums (treponema pallidum, borellia burgdorferi). The diagnosis prenative of the Torch infections, followed by the prenative therapy reduce the severity and frequency of the congenital malformations at the pregnant women. That why the Torch complex must be test by screening beside the other usual investigations.
